Database will be the heart of your website, and the most importantly is that its reliable and in fast speed supplying data to php script request. Over the 5 years in various hosting experience, i had come across many kind of database, and some are really slow, slow until i cant do my work online, and the website is slow and delayed. Those hosting really sucks. This the reason for reviewing the database and mysql database performance as well.

I am not familiar with postgresql database, so this review will not cover it. For the mysql its in the same server as the hosting server, thus guarantee much better uptime. With localhost database, the downtime is minimised as well. PhpMyAdmin is full features and running fast.
